Nora Consulting ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what we do with it, in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect and why

Contact form and message window

When you send us a message through the contact form or the floating message window, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use them only to reply to you. Messages are delivered to our email inbox and a copy is kept in the website dashboard so we can find past correspondence.

Job applications

When you apply for a role, we receive the details you submit — your name, email address, phone number, optional LinkedIn address, optional message, and your resume if you attach one. We use them only to assess your application and to contact you about it. Applications are stored securely in the website dashboard, where only staff involved in recruitment can see them; resumes are stored in a protected location that is not publicly accessible.

Technical information

When a form is submitted, we record a one-way scrambled fingerprint of the submitting connection to protect the forms against automated abuse. Your actual network address is not stored. This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads nothing from third-party services.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use it for any purpose other than the one you gave it to us for. We do not send marketing email.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for responding to you. Job applications that do not lead to a hire are kept for a limited period after the role closes — so we can reconsider recent candidates when similar roles open — and are then deleted, resume included.

Your choices

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email nora@seowarrior.net and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
